Full Description
A medal was discovered metal detecting and submitted to Treasure Trove. It was a political medal commemorating the victory of Admiral Jervis in 1797. Obverse: Jervis with Neptune. Reverse legend: 'Sr John Jervis with 15 sail persued and defeated the Spanish fleet of 27 sail of the line February 24th 1797'. It was disclaimed (TTNC 2015/090). <1>
