Full Description

A possible double-ditched enclosure at Hilton, north of Dornoch.

The enclosure is visible as a 'cropmark' in grass on vertical APs dating to 2015 and 2016. It measures approximately 27.5m east-west by 26.5 north-south. The outer ditch, which is not as prominent as the inner ditch, does not appear to continue around the west side or is so close to the inner ditch as to be difficult to distinguish or actually merges into it. There may also be a circular feature approximately 12m across within the enclosure. <1> <2>
