Full Description

A small, flat, perforated pendant of steatite was found during fieldwalking near Culdoich. It was found in complete isolation. It had been worked into shape, and the perforation had been drilled from one side only. This side, the front, had incised line decoration of no particular form and the rear side had incised radial lines. Both faces had been deliberately pecked, and the perforation showed signs of wear from attachment. It was possibly Early Medieval in date although it could be later. <1>
