Full Description
A possible structure and enclosure at Knockglass, Caithness
A possible structure and enclosure are visible in LiDAR data gathered by AOC Archaeology in 2011 as part of the mitigation for the visual impact on the archaeological landscape associated with the proposed Baillie Hill windfarm, Caithness. However, the features were not identified in the initial data analysis and therefore are not recorded/listed in the project report. <1>
There is nothing shown here on the OS 1st Edition 6" map. It is adjacent and parallel to a larger structure and enclosure to the northeast and so may be associated. [IS-L 01/07/2020].
