Full Description
Post-medieval ?boundary bank at Lieurary, Caithness.
Boundary bank identified in LiDAR data gathered by AOC Archaeology in 2011 as part of the mitigation for the visual impact on the archaeological landscape associated with the proposed Baillie Hill windfarm, Caithness. <1>
It is a substantial feature and although visible as a bank with a ditch on either side in the LiDAR data it is not shown on OS 1st or 2nd edition maps. It connects with a trackway at its eastern end so may be a continuation of it [IS-L 07/07/2020].
