Full Description

An enclosure to the south of Blar na Craoibhe, Caithness.

An enclosure identified in LiDAR data gathered by AOC Archaeology in 2011 as part of the mitigation for the visual impact on the archaeological landscape associated with the proposed Baillie Hill windfarm, Caithness. <1>

This feature is formed from three ditches which form three sides of an enclosure which abutts the west bank of the Forss Water. It is not clear what its purpose may be and it is not shown on any historic OS maps. It may be a relatively modern feature [IS-L 08/07/2020].
