Full Description

A former farmstead at Achreamie, Caithness.

Roofed and unroofed buildings identified in LiDAR data gathered by AOC Archaeology in 2011 as part of the mitigation for the visual impact on the archaeological landscape associated with the proposed Baillie Hill windfarm, Caithness. <1>

What appears to be a crofthouse is also shown immediately to the south of these buildings on the OS 1st Edition 25" map and an enclosure to the the north, the latter is also visible in the LiDAR data [IS-L 04/08/2020].
