Full Description

A penannular gold ring discovered metal detecting was claimed by Treasure Trove (TT 03/19) and allocated to Nairn Museum. It is an incomplete penannular ring, slightly oval in plan, comprising a gold
sheet around a copper/copper alloy core with part of one terminal surviving. See attached TT report for futher information and photos. <1> <2>

Four figure grid reference give in marginal only. A full GR for the gold ring is held by Treasure Trove. GW 04/09/20
