Full Description
The North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NoSAS) undertook an archaeological survey of Urchany in 2015.
Site H62; Hut circle. This 7m diameter circular structure lies on a flat platform above the west facing slope of the Breakachy Burn. It is built into that slope on its north side. The constituent stones of the low walls are generally ephemeral and are missing on the west aspect. A 1.5m entrance is apparent in the east, adjacent to burial cairn C64 (MHG62128). <1>
