Full Description
Centred at NH 442 383, on a SE-facing slope, are two circular stone-walled huts (A and B) and a contemporary field system.
Hut 'A' is about 11.5m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to about 2.5m all round. The 'simple' entrance is in the E. Traces of a wall extend from the N side of the entrance in a northerly direction. 'B' is ill-defined and measures about 9.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall of indeterminate width, which incorporates a prostrate slab in the NE arc. The entrance is not apparent.
The ruins of a recent enclosure, about 5.0m across, lie immediately to the NW of the hut.
The field system consists of stone clearance heaps, occasional lynchets and field walls, but no distinct plots could be identified. A ruined wall bounds the N side of the system. In the area are the ruins of two or three recent stone-built structures.
Huts surveyed at 1/10,560.
