Full Description
In June 2015, a walkover survey was undertaken by Anne Coombs on behalf of the Forestry Commission Scotland to identify and demarcate archaeological sites in advance of the clear felling of a conifer plantation.
Site 3; Mound. A large mound is c.12m in diameter and c.0.75m high and grass covered. It lies on the south edge of the plantation and has not been planted. Trees have been planted within 5m of the mound. The mound was marked with gps and some of the trees were taped; photos were taken. <1>
