Full Description

A shieling hut at Fannich.

The remains of a shieling hut were recorded during a walkover survey by Quadrat Scotland in 2013, undertaken to inform a proposed hydro-electric scheme. It was recorded as 'Shieling ca. 6 x 4 m. <1>

Note: it may be a small outbuilding for the nearby farmhouse (see MHG62400) rather than a shieling hut [IS-L 22/10/2021]
