Full Description

Between May and August 2012, a survey was undertaken by the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NoSAS) to identify, survey, and record the archaeological remains at Achadh Mor, Loch Garve.

Site 43; Track/Hollow way. A short section of track 300m to the east of the main settlement of Achadh Mor in low lying flat ground. This short stretch of track is curving and on an SE-NW alignment, it is 16m long x 1m wide at its base (3m upper part) x 1m deep. <1>

There is a feature which answers the description from the 2012 survey visible in SEPA LiDAR data a few metres to the northeast of the given grid reference, which given standard GPS inaccuracies may be the feature. However this feature appears to continue to the northwest for at least a further 36m. <2>
