(Name Centred: NM 776 991) Site of Castle (NR).
OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1902)

The site of an old castle, of which nothing now remains. It is said to have been destroyed in 1745 because its owner favoured the Stuart course.
Name Book 1873.

At NM 7761 9917 in marshy haughland is a circular turf-covered mound measuring c.20.0m in diameter and c.1.5m high with a level top c.8.0m in diameter. There is no trace of a surrounding ditch and bank.
There is no evidence to support this as being the site of a castle. Surveyed at 1/2500.
