One of a number of hut circles around Achvraid. Not originally noted by the OS.

The area was photographed from the air by J.S. Bone in 1999 <1> <2>

The hut circle was Scheduled (with a larger hut circle to the southeast - Achvraid 'H' - see MHG62776) by Historic Scotland with effect from 01/03/2007. It was recorded as lying on a low ridge on Essich Moor, at 210-215m OD, just to the west of Carn Glas chambered cairns. It is not marked on the 1:10000 map. It is 5m in diameter including banks 1m wide, with an entrance in the eastern arc.
