Full Description

Two clearance cairns at Ardmolich, Moidart.

The features were recorded by AOC Archaeology Group during a pre-felling walkover survey of Ardmolich Wood in 2016: Sites 3-8 are all located in close proximity on a broad, relatively flat natural ridge or terrace c. 40m across. Two small clearance cairns. The larger to the south, (a) c. 4m east-west by 2m north-south. 0.5m high. The smaller to the north, (b) 2m east-west by 1.5m N-S. 0.10m high. <1>
