Full Description
A possible boundary bank at Ardmolich, Moidart.
The feature was recorded by AOC Archaeology Group during a pre-felling walkover survey of Ardmolich Wood in 2016: Sites 3-8 are all located in close proximity on a broad, relatively flat natural ridge or terrace c. 40m across. A linear stone and earth bank aligned c. north-south for 15m. East-west 3-4m wide spread of bank, flattened in some places and disturbed by trees planted along it. Stonier at south end, abutting bedrock outcrop. Possible field boundary. <1>
