Full Description
A possible hut circle at Ardmolich, Moidart.
The feature was recorded by AOC Archaeology Group during a pre-felling walkover survey of Ardmolich Wood in 2016: Site 9 is located to the west, immediately downslope of the broad natural ridge sites 3-8 are situated on. A sub-circular flat platform cut into a steep slope, perhaps enhancement of a natural terrace. Curving cut at back of platform into slope. North edge has stone revetment visible. Measures c. 6m N- S by 5m E-W. Possible hut circle? <1>
