Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform at Ardmolich, Moidart.
The feature was recorded by AOC Archaeology Group during a pre-felling walkover survey of Ardmolich Wood in 2016: A well built platform cut into natural slope with obvious course of medium angular stone, 3-4 courses in places on the N, E and W sides. Measures 6.5m NW-SE by 5m. Stands 1.5m above natural slope at N revetted edge. Similar to excavated Site 1 (see MHG62839). <1>
