Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform at Ardmolich, Moidart.
The feature was recorded by AOC Archaeology Group during a pre-felling walkover survey of Ardmolich Wood in 2016: A sub-circular platform c. 6m N-S by 7m E-W cut into natural slope at back of terrace and c. 1m stone revetment on N side. 3 course of medium angular stone visible in places. Small-medium trees planted on top. On the slope above 13, c. 8m away is a small terrace, possibly quarrying for material? <1>
