Full Description
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989. Forestry above Belladrum.
What originally may have been almost circular, is now seen as a U-shaped earthwork. 17 yards is the diameter of this badly-eroded rampart which may possibly be part of a huge hut circle. There is a similarity between this site and Site No. 70 in the record. <1>
Note: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on grid coordinates. (T. Blackie 05/07/23)
