Full Description
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989. Groam of Annat.
In an area where there is a substantial straight linear earthwork at little distance to the west, there can be traced mostly beneath dense bracken, a section of two straight sides (45 yards and. 22 yards) and the complete end (18 yards) of what appears to be a rectangular enclosure. It is a low eroded rampart with its minor ditch at the outside of the two right-angled corners that are visible. <1>
Note: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on grid coordinates and site location as described in the report. (T. Blackie 18/09/23)
