Full Description
R. Spencer-Jones and S. North of NOSAS conducted a walkover survey of this area of Urchany on 27/02/19 based on features identified on an 1800 map in the Lovat Estate collection.
Beinn a Chlaonaidh
Possible shieling; On the southern slopes of Beinn a Chlaonaidh is a flattened area of ground, c100m EW x 50m NS, breaking the slope of the hill. On a prominent knoll on this platform is a raised rectangular area, 2.5m x 1.5m, with vague walls c 0.15m high. Orientated EW, no obvious entrance and east wall deficient. <1>
