Full Description

This panel was recorded as part of the ScRAP (Scotland’s Rock Art project) by members of NoSAS in November 2019. This is one of five 'Evanton garden' panels which are in a collection held by the owner in his garden where they have been moved from their original location.

The panel is a squared off piece of hard sandstone measuring 0.7m x 0.3m and 0.3m thick. There is some mortar attached to one face suggesting it has been part of a wall or building at some time. There are 6 cups, one larger than the others. One of the cups is incomplete where the panel has been broken. <1>
