Full Description

This panel was recorded as part of the ScRAP (Scotland’s Rock Art project) by members of NoSAS in November 2019. The rock art panel is part of a collection held by the owner in his garden where it has been moved from its original location. It was found by the owner at Swordale Farm.

The stone is roughly rectangular and is 0.62 x 0.38m and 0.16m high. It is likely that this stone has been shaped in the past and probably used in a building. There are 11 cupmarks, 8 arranged in a roughly square group with 2 possible cups visible on the photogrammetry beside this group. At the other end of the stone there are 3 less visible cups, 2 of which are joined by a very shallow channel. <1>
