Full Description

A sheep shelter at Carn Beag near the Tutim Burn, was recorded by Highland Archaeology Services during a walkover survey in 2011 in advance of a proposed forestry scheme on the Balnagowan Estate. Drystone circular structure with wings extending north and south. This is located some distance from the nearest watercourse and is unlikely to be occupying a former shieling area. <1>
