Full Description

Remains of a circular structure at Glen Ose, Skye. It was recorded during a walkover survey by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey in 2001 in advance of the proposed Edinbane Wind Farm development.

Site C: Lying 30m up the slope from double electric pole No. BD498 this site consists of an arc of low turf walling with a diameter of about 5.00m. The visible turf wall measures only 0.50m thick and nowhere stands to more than 0.20m high. The interior of the circle is filled with rushes. <1> <2>
