Full Description
A shieling hut at Glen Ose (Glen Ullinish), Skye. It was recorded during a walkover survey by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey in 2001 in advance of the proposed Edinbane Wind Farm development.
Site O(b): Lying just to the north of the point where two burns meet, are the remains of a double celled turf and stone shieling, slightly larger and better preserved than one 40m to the south (see MHG63410). <1> <2>
NOTE: This is the northern of the two recorded as 'Site O' in <1>.
