Full Description
A stone-built possible enclosure to the west of Berriedale Water. The feature appears as a double-celled structure, with each 'cell' being oval in shape, each measuring approximately 8m x 5-6m and clearly visible in vertical aerial photographs taken in 2009. It appears to abut the remains of an east-west field dyke. It may be the remains of a robbed clearance cairn, cleared out or partially remodelled to create a rough sheep fold. <1>
