Full Description
A square enclosure at Langwell. It partly overlies a large hut circle and has been noted by RCHAMS and the OS (see MHG2424). It may be associated with the farmstead the remains of which lie a short way to the west-northwest (see MHG28685).
The feature was seen and noted during a pre-forestry walkover survey by Headland Archaeology in 1998. <1>
It is visible in vertical aerial photographs taken in 2009. <2>
