Full Description
An archaeological evaluation by C. Dagg was undertaken in 2003 in advance of water mains renewal.
The following features were noted on the 1st edition OS map: Kinrive Crofts at NH 7120 7523. Two roofed buildings and gardens running to the road, named as Kinrive Crofts. These do not appear to be indicated on modern maps. There is now no trace of these croft buildings in an improved field. They have probably been deliberately removed, but are not within the area of proposed work, so any archaeological remains will not he affected. <1>
