OS 1:10,000 map, (1970)
Two huts ('A' and 'B') lie within a contemporary field system well marked by stone clearance heaps, and some broken field walls (OS {RDL}). 'A' is 13.0m N-S by 11.5m between centres of a wall spread to 4.0m. The entrance is in the S.
'B' is 8.5m N-S by 7.5m between centres of a wall much depleted in the N arc. The entrance is in the S.
Revised at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (R D L) 15 April 1964 and (J M) 15 April 1964.
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1997 advance of a proposed woodland grant scheme at Morvich, Sutherland.
1/1; Two roundhouses lie just outside the proposed plantation. 75m to the west is a probable field boundary defined as low bank running north for 30m from the slope above the burn. This defines a terrace and presumably a field associated with the roundhouse 20m wide. <1>
NGR adjusted based on 1999-2001 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
