Full Description
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1997 advance of a proposed woodland grant scheme at Morvich, Sutherlan
A rectangular building 12m by 3m with an irregular enclosure appended is part of an extensive post-medieval settlement in this area. The other lines (shown dotted in plan) recorded in the vicinity may be stone dumps at the edge of an earlier field rather than wall lines. The feature has been partially damaged by tractor and cattle erosion. <1>
NGR adjusted based on 1999-2001 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
