Full Description

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1997 advance of a proposed woodland grant scheme at Morvich, Sutherlan

The feature is as drawn, a substantial probably post-medieval enclosure. It also contains the remiains of a rectangular structure as drawn. The northeast corner has been obscured by dumping of material during construction of the modern track. The stone dyke to the south is as drawn, disappearing to the southeast in an area of birch and then re-emerging. It has been cut by the modern track. <1>

NGR adjusted based on 1999-2001 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
