Full Description
A desktop survey was undertaken by Stuart Farrell for an area of proposed new woodland in August 2009.
Site 31; Tumuli marked on 15t and 2nd edition OS; not marked on latest OS. Area of field system is shown to be quite extensive on base map (NC91NW) held in NMRS (See green outline on figure 2) based on information from Ordnance Survey. <1>
NGR adjusted based on 1999-2001 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
