Full Description

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Ross and Cromarty Archaeological Services in 2014 on behalf of ALF Burn Hydro Ltd in advance of the installation of a 100kW hydro scheme at Auchmore Farm, near Muir of Ord, Ross-shire.

Site 13c; Located on the southwest side of a knoll are three visible stone-built compartments c. 2.5 x 2m with partition walls 0.2m high and 0.5m wide. A turf and stone bank runs round on their southwest side, which is spread up to 1.5m wide and stands up to 0.8m high. <1>
