Full Description
Achadh a' Bhraghad: Shealing. "Field of the Braes".<1>
Underlying what are clearly later enclosures at Achadh a' Bhraghad, Druim Suardale (see MHG18780), are the earthworks/dykes of earlier more irregular enclosures which may relate to an older shieling site, as referred to in the OS Name Book, and/or a farmstead. The dykes are visible in aerial photography, the best overall being those taken in 2020. <2>
