NH59NW 11 549 993.

"Discovered" during field investigation, levelled into a steep SW-facing hillside at NH 549 993, is a settlement comprising four hut platforms (A-D). Contemporary cultivation is indicated by several terraces, particularly in the vicinity of huts A and B, with occasional patches of cleared stones thrown down the slopes.
"A" is an eye-brow shaped platform with a back scarp and large frontal build-up measuring 11.5m NW-SE by 9m. There is no evidence of stone-work.
"B" is similar, measuring 10.5m NW-SE by 8.5m, with the frontal build-up revetted with a few boulders.
"C", less well-preserved, measures about 10m NW-SE by 7m.
"D" is ill-defined except in the SW where a stone revetment is evident. It measures about 10.5m NNW-SSE by 8m.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J M) 26 September 1974.

No change to previous field report.
Surveyed at 1:10 000 and 1:2500. Visited by OS (JM) 27 10 1976
