The grid reference (NG 6371 2047) that is cited for this monument appears incorrect. It is apparently located at NG 6217 2047. Information: Mr I Fleming (NMRS) 1991.
About 15m above the line of the old tramway close tp a small burn at around 68m OD is a single large clearance cairn which measures 2m in diameter.
