Full Description

A walkover survey was carried out by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2021 on behalf of Treeline Forestry Limited and Fairburn Estate in advance of proposed woodland creation schemes.

Site 93b: Hut circle. The survey map, GIS data supplied and the LiDAR image indicates a hut circle but Site 93 had been duplicated on the survey map and there is no entry in the report on this feature. The hut circle appears to have an internal diameter of 14 metres. Immediately to the west, a smaller circular feature is visible on Lidar with an internal diameter of 7.5 meters. <1>
