Full Description

A possible double hut circle to the east of Romesdal, Skye on the east side of the A87 road. The site consists of two circular, conjoined earthworks in a north-south 'figure 8' arrangement. The larger circle to the south measures c.8m in diameter and the smaller to the north measures c.6.5m. The site is visible in vertical aerial photography taken from 2005 (as part of the 'Millennium Map' series) to 2018. <1> <2> <3>
