Full Description
This girder bridge has carried the Broadford tramway (NG62SW 55.04) over the Broadford River. The eastern (brick) abutment and the foundation of an intermediate pier can apparently still be seen. These are probably to be identified with features depicted (but not noted) at NG 6414 2363 (abutment) and NG 6414 2361 (pier) on the OS 1:2500 map of 1966. Information from Dr R Miket (Skye and Lochalsh District Council), September 1993.
