Full Description
A shieling of 'Auld Clachdrie'. It is shown and labelled as an oval enclosure astride a burn on the south side, and bordering the shore, of Loch Bhuide on a plan of part of the Estate of Skelbo by David Aitkin dated 1788. It belongs to the Sutherland Estate. <1>
Northing is visible on available vertical aerial photography, but shieling huts and associated structures woud be expected [IS-L 170/6/2025].
