Full Description
A township comprising three unroofed buildings and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxxvi). Five unroofed buildings and two unroofed structures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).

A small farmstead situated on a dry knoll overlooking the River Naver to the west, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/75, nos.1-2). Although none of these buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxxvi), they are probably part of the township lying immediately to the east. A rectangular building measuring 10m by 3.5m with an enclosure, measuring 11m by 10m, attached on the SE.
