A small farmstead situated on a dry knoll overlooking the River Naver to the west, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/75, nos.1-2). Although none of these buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxxvi), they are probably part of the township lying immediately to the east. Three sub-rectangular buildings on a north to south orientation which are defined by very low turf and stone banks. They measure 4m by 3.5m, 8.5m by 3.5m and 4.5m by 3m.
A stretch of turf and stone bank (NMRS MS 899/75, no.4), depicted on both the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map and the current edition of the 1:10560 OS map, is also probably associated with the township.
