Full Description
A second archaeological survey of Sandwood Estate in the parish of Eddrachillis was undertaken by ACFA in 2002.
A stony grass-covered subcircular mound 6m N-S by 4m by 1.5m high. Some small and medium stones are visible. There is a small depression on the southeast side. Lying in an area of small clearance cairns and at least one hut platform, this cairn is interpreted as probably a burial mound of Bronze Age date. <1>
A possible mound or cairn at Leathad Ban near Kinlochbervie. The site is visible in vertical aerial photography as a circular feature measuring c.8m in diameter. <2> <3>
