Full Description

A small settlement named 'Tiribeg' at Lochindorb is shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. It is shown as two roofed buildings and one unroofed building or small enclosure on the east shore of Lochindorb, immediately to the east of the island where Lochindorb Castle (see MHG6778) once stood. On vertical aerial photography the area is now just a patch of rough ground with no sign of buildings. <1> <2>
