Full Description
A large possible mound and/or cairn on the edge of Easter Brightmony Wood. The feature is completely under tree cover but is visible in SEPA/Scottish Gov. LiDAR data as a large earthwork, one of two, almost contiguous, in this location (see MHG65453 for the other just 15m to the southeast), crossed by a field boundary and is c.43m in diameter with a possible outer ditch although it is possible that the core of the feature is c.30m in diameter. It may be a cairn and may have seen some disturbance to its east side by the construction of a nearby house and ancilliary structures to the east. <1>
