Full Description

A large possible mound and/or cairn on the edge of Easter Brightmony Wood. The feature is completely under tree cover but is visible in SEPA/Scottish Gov. LiDAR data as a large sub-circular flattish earthwork, one of two, almost contiguous, in this location (see MHG65452 for the other just 15m to the northwest) and is c.43m in diameter. It may be a cairn and appears to have suffered some disturbance to its northeast side by the construction of a nearby house and ancilliary structures to the northeast. <1>
