Full Description
A rapid walkover survey was carried out for a WGS by J Wordsworth in 2000.
In an area of grassland largely obscured by bracken at the time of survey were the remains of 3 possible shielings. They measure c6m by 3m and are aligned N/S. 2 of these features are shown in photo and the third lay 22m to east of structure shown in the foreground of the picture. Identification is tentative and they may be more clearly defined once the bracken has died down. <1>
